Gloucester Branch Led & Performance Show

Saturday 8th September

What a fantastic Led & Performance Show Gloucester Branch ran on the 8th September. The shower of rain the day before settled the dust and the sun shone for the day.

A small branch cannot hold a show without the help from competitors family and friends so it was wonderful to have Adele Duncan come up on the day and ask if she can help. Jo Davidson, a horse rider but not competitive helped pencil in a ring and what a delight to have a young person, Kate Schipman, pencil for the youth ring. Linda Hartley had 2 daughters, Chloe and Tayla riding on the day but was still able to give her time to help in the canteen. It was wonderful to have April Spriggs help with the addition of the Challenge results. We are very grateful to these people. Small branches struggle to put on events so please offer your help.

The word on the judges for the day were “fair and consistent”, “friendly and helpful”,  “we  were delighted with the judging”. Thank you to Kathy and Darren De Jong who judged the Hack and Working and Kyra O’Brien who judged the youth ring and Time Trial and to Carolyn Murphy who judged the Dressage.
